Mikki Campbell is from Canberra, Australia but now lives on the Gold Coast.
She started painting at 14 years old, but give it up a few years later because she was told "painting is not a real job".
However, a passion for art is a passion for art and many years later as an adult, she took up painting again and was fortunate enough to be encouraged by a good art teacher who taught Mikki to paint wild, loose and free.
Mikki's abstract artworks are full of shape, pattern and colour and are most often completed in acrylic paints.
"I love painting for others, I take their essence into my work and create from a space that knows and connects to them," said Mikki.
